I Corinthians chp 13 vss 4-7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

If love feels like the sun… What colour is it? What does it feel like? What does is sound like? What does it smell like?
‘Lord, help us to be loving every day. Remind us to be patient and kind.’
What are we doing in school to learn about Love?
Each class is thinking about ways to express love other than using words. We are also learning that love isn’t easy and with love comes patience. On the Playground We are learning to be kind and caring with each other and the new equipment. Sharing equipment or games is one way of showing love.
Love at home
Try being there for a friend or family member just to listen when they are upset.
Offer to help with jobs around the house without being asked. Make a card just to tell a friends or family member how much you love and care for them. Show love through being patient and kind with others.
Try putting others before yourself. Showing you care for others and think about them is a way of showing your love for them.
Love is also about friendship and learning to be a good friend. Showing you love someone can be very hard but can make others feel good inside.
It’s a fact:
Love is powerful so just offering a helping or hand or showing someone how much you care can put a smile on their face.
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.”
– Oscar Wilde
